    Daisy chain is not the best solution for some electrical configurations, but when conditions are ok it's very practical. I had a power supply with limited outputs and bought this to introduce new pedals, I used it to power the lowest powered analog pedals (<30 mA) and it didn't produce any noise hiss or hum. The female barrel has a nice tight fit and is compatible with any standard centre negative 2.1mm barrel plug from most pedal power supplies.
    I would't recommend it to power multiple digital and power hungry devices above 200 mA, but maybe you can get away with it.

    PRO; Just long enough, and that little bit more when needed. Small plug fits perfectly on all 7 different models on my board. The wire is well shielded and will take what it needs.

    The cable is surprisingly supple and the plugs are well-moulded. However, the male barrel plugs will only fit 5.5mm sockets with 2.1mm center pins. Sockets with the equally common 2.5mm pins do not mate, unfortunately.

    Frustratingly, Thomann does not specify this (or any plug compatibility for that matter) on the product page. This cable is therefore not useful for the devices I want to connect.

    The female end will happily accept both types of male plug, though.

    It has (-) polarity inside, and (+) polarity on the ring (outside).
    If you are using it for similar applications, I recommend coupling it with the the sssnake SK233-0,3 XLR Patch. It is rather difficult to find small XLR patch cables, but this one does the trick beautifully.
